The Honor X30 Max and Honor X30i might be the 5G smartphones you need

We have seen more than three Huawei smartphones got released in the past two weeks. Today, the firm has made two new additions to its Android line-up in China which may be hitting the global market in few weeks to come. The Honor X30 Max and Honor X30i as called, are 5G-capable smartphones that have all the bells-and-whistle that most shoppers will desire for.

Despite their similar naming, their specs are quite different. These are not flagships as a matter of fact; the Honor X30 Max brings a very large 7.09-inch Full HD+ LCD screen that tick the HDR10 and DCI-P3 boxes, while it is powered by a Dimensity 900 6nm chipset paired with 8GB of RAM.

You have the option to chose between 128GB or 256GB storage when purchasing one, although you will not be able to expand the storage further than that. At the rear resides a 64MP main camera and a secondary 2MP depth camera, while you will find an 8MP selfie camera tucked inside the waterdrop notch above the display. Other specs onboard includes side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, and 5000mAh battery.

While the tech used for the display is still LCD, you get to have 90Hz refresh rate (that will be of interest to gamers). The processor that powered the phone is Dimensity 810, and you have the option to chose between 6GB RAM or 8GB RAM, while the storage is also offered in 128GB or 256GB depending on your selection.

The Honor X30i is not as robust as the Honor X30 Max when it comes photography as you will only find a 48MP primary camera and two secondary 2MP cameras on its back. Other specs seem to be nearly the same, but you won't be getting the stereo speakers that is on the X30 Max.
