Nokia G300 is a $200 smartphone with 5G support

Nokia G300

Nokia has introduced a new budget smartphone exclusively in the United States with 5G connectivity dubbed G300. The device is aimed at the low end segment and will be of much interest to smartphone buyers that want 5G at all cost without minding other specs.

Apart from 5G which seems to be the only interesting aspects of the phone is a 6.5-inch HD+ display that touts an aspect ratio of 20:9. Powering the overall system is an octa-core Snapdragon 480 chipset, clubbed with 4GB of RAM.

All files are stored on its 64GB internal storage that is expandable via MicroSD card. In optics, the Nokia G300 relied on a 16-megapixel rear snapper to capture images, while additional 5-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel depth cameras sits below for more spectacular shots. At the front is an 8-megapixel camera for selfie.

The smartphone runs Android 11 outta box and relied on a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. In addition, there is also support for face unlock if you don't prefer the traditional method.

The usual connectivity are present including a dedicated 3.5mm audio jack, while power is supplied by a 4,470mAh battery with 18W fast wired charging supports.
