Vivo S10e with Dimensity 900, AMOLED screen, 44W charging silently released in China

The S10e indeed supports 5G. It does not have a 3.5mm audio jack as earlier stated but supports USB-C audio.

Vivo quietly unveiled a new smartphone today in China without funfair. The S10e as called, is a mid-range device flaunting a 6.44-inch water-drop AMOLED screen with 60Hz refresh rate, but it does not have any glass protection. It weigh just 175 grams and is 7.49mm thick.

The phone boots Android 11 out-of-the-box buttered with the firm's proprietary OriginOS. Powering the whole system is Mediatek's Dimensity 900 octa-core chipset, clubbed with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

Storage is offered in two options, 128GB and 256GB, although we are not quite sure if a MicroSD expansion slot is provided because the press release does not reveal that piece of information.

In optics, the Vivo S10e sports a 64MP rear snapper, accompanied by 8MP ultra-wide angle and 2MP depth cameras. At the front of the smartphone resides a 32MP selfie camera that can record 1080p videos.

As far as connectivity is concerned, the Vivo S10e lacked 5G but supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, WiFi 802.11ac, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and 3.5mm audio jack. It relied on a 4,000mAh battery for power, with supports of 44W fast charging.

The 8GB RAM/128GB version will be sold for CN¥ 2399 (US$373), while the 8GB/256GB version will costs CN¥2599 (US$404) when it go on sale from October 20th. Buyers will be able to pick one in Haze, White Gradient, and Glaze Black colors.
