Vivo Y20T launches with 5000mAh battery and Snapdragon 662 chipset

Vivo today has introduced a new entry-level smartphone in India dubbed Y20T. The device, specifically aimed at India market, have rear and sides plastic build and a crisp large display that measures 6.51-inch. The display touts an HD+ pixel resolution.

The device draw its processing power from an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 mobile chipset that runs at a clock speed of 2.0GHz, paired with 6GB of RAM. Vivo is including a mammoth 5000mAh battery with its latest Y20T Android smartphone with 18W fast charging supports.

Camera-wise, the phone has a 13MP primary rear camera that comes bundled with 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras at the rear, while it sports an 8MP camera at the front. Unfortunately, the Vivo Y20T is only offered with 64GB storage as at launch.

FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 handles the software, while the security of the whole system relied on a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity provided includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, WiFi 802.11ac, 3G, 2G, GPS, and USB Type-C.

The Vivo Y20T carries a price tag of Rs 15,490 in India, which is approximately $201 USD. It will be available in Purist Blue and Obsidian Black colors when it go on sale starting from October 11th in popular stores such as Flipkart,, and the company e-Store. No details about its availability in other markets.
