Note 11i and Hot 11 Play are Infinix latest entry smartphones with big batteries

Infinix Note 11i

Without much funfair, Infinix today launched the Note 11i after announcing several variants of the Note 11 series in the past few weeks. This unlike the rest is powered by the Mediatek Helio G85 12nm chipset. Coupled alongside is a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the storage is further expandable via microSD card.

The dual SIM slot of the smartphone share the same slot with the microSD, so users can insert all the three at once without having to swap around. The Note 11i has a large 6.95-inch LCD display that only refreshes at 60Hz, although it is quite brilliant because it has a Full HD+ resolution.

The main shooter that takes all the picture is located at the back and it has a 48MP sensor, below it you will also find a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth cameras. Selfie is handled by a 16MP camera that resides inside the punch hole above the display. The whole camera setup is limited to Full HD (1080p) video recording, you may have to put that in mind.

Since the entire body (except the glass front) is made of plastic, there are no waterproof and dustproof ratings of whatsoever, although you do get a pair of stereo speakers that are enhanced by DTS Audio. The usual range of connectivity are present, while it packed a 5000mAh battery behind with 18W fast charging supports.

Infinix Hot 11 Play

The firm also introduced Hot 11 Play, which is a budget smartphone that is made to cater for low-end segment of the market. The device features 6.82-inch HD+ LCD screen, an Helio G35 chipset, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, dual 13MP+2MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, and a gigantic 6000mAh battery. It also have rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and 3.5mm audio jack.

Pricing and availability

The Note 11i and Hot 11 Play are currently on sale in Ghana for GH¢ 799 (approx. US$130) and GH¢979 (approx. US$160) respectively. We expect them to be available in more African countries such as Nigeria and Kenya, and in some part of Asia in the coming months.
