Moto G51 5G goes exclusive in China with Snapdragon 480+, 5000mAh battery

Motorola is one of the brand that we don't usually heard about launching exclusive products in China even though it belongs to Lenovo, which is a Chinese company, what an irony! Well, the firm surprisingly came forward today to announce its latest smartphone called Moto G51. Motorola partnered with China Mobile, which is one of China's network service provider, to launch the device.

Notably, the Moto G51 is the first smartphone that will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 480+ chipset - this is a full-fledge 5G chipset that offer more performance and efficiency compared to Snapdragon 480. Accompany the chipset is 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device has dual SIM slot that can accommodate two SIM cards at a time.

At the front is a 6.8-inch Full HD+ LCD screen that is calibrated to refresh at 120Hz, while also having a 240Hz touch sampling rate. There is a single punch hole at the top of the display that housed a 13-megapixel selfie camera. Speaking of the camera, the G51 also have three at the back - a 50MP main shooter, followed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The software relied on Android 11 that is heavily customized with MyUI 2.0 for good user experience. As already mentioned, the Moto G51 supports 5G on both SIM slots it have. Other connectivity the smartphone have are WiFi 802.11ac (dual band), Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS/BDS, and USB Type-C. It has a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom and a fingerprint sensor at the back.

The Moto G51 draw its power from a 5,000mAh battery with supports of 10W fast charging. It's priced at CN¥1499 (US$235) and is exclusive to China Mobile customers.
