Nokia X100 5G smartphone with NFC launched on T-Mobile in the US

The Nokia X100 launched exclusively on T-Mobile in the United States today. The new smartphone supports 5G (n25, n41, n66, and n71 bands) and offer other useful connectivity such as NFC and 3.5mm audio jack. At the front is a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen that boasts of Full HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio, protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 480 8nm SoC, coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage, with an extra slot provided to further expand the storage up to 512GB via microSD card. The Nokia X100 offers biometric security through the fingerprint scanner that is embedded at its side.

At the back of the smartphone are quad cameras in a circular island - the main has a 48MP f/1.8 sensor, followed by a 5MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera. At the front above the display is a 16MP camera for taking selfie. The main cam uses ZEISS optics and should produce good results.

The usual range of connectivity such as Bluetooth 5, WiFi 802.11ac (dual band, 2x2 MIMO), Dual 4G VoLTE, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, FM radio, and USB Type-C are present, while you will find a 4,470mAh battery tucked behind with supports for 18W fast charging. The device is 9.1mm thick and weigh 217 grams.
