Xiaomi announced Redmi Note 11 4G with 90Hz screen and Helio G88 chipset

Xiaomi sub-brand, Redmi, has made its latest smartphone called Redmi Note 11 4G official in China. The device, which was unveiled today, is more like a revamp edition of the Redmi 10 (2021) as they both have the same specifications. However, they are slightly different in the camera compartment.

Their specs aligned in all areas except in the rear camera configuration. Triple camera with 50MP sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and 2MP macro lens are mounted to the rear, while a single 8MP camera resides at the front. To remind you, the Redmi 10 have quad rear cameras that include a 2MP depth sensor, which the Redmi Note 11 4G lacked.

We have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate at the front, while the fingerprint sensor is embedded into the power button located at the side. There is a USB-C port at the bottom of the device alongside the secondary microphone and the speaker. The primary microphone is located at the top, and it sits beside the IR sensor and the 3.5mm audio jack.

Powering the smartphone is a Mediatek Helio G88 chipset. It is offered with 128GB storage, but buyers have the option to chose between 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. The Redmi Note 11 4G boots Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 overlay, and it also have dual stereo speakers located at the top and at the bottom.

It draw its power from a 5,000mAh battery and there is a 22.5W charger included in the box, although 18W is the maximum current supported.

The 4GB/128GB model is priced at CN¥999 (US$155), while the 6GB/128GB model costs CN¥1099 (US$170). Sales will begin on December 1st in China. You can pick one in either Sea Blue, Pebble White, or Carbon Gray color.
