Huawei P50 Pocket goes official without 5G connectivity

Huawei P50 Pocket Premium Edition

After several leaks in the past few days, Huawei has finally officially unveiled its first foldable flip smartphone, the P50 Pocket. The device, meant to be pocket-friendly, has a compact design and merely weigh 190 grams.

It has a circular 1-04-inch AMOLED screen on its cover that allow users to view app notifications, time, date, to answer/end calls, or to use it as a viewfinder when taking selfie. Apart from these, the cover (or front) display can also be used for changing music tracks (prev/next/pause/play), as a QR scanner, to view calendar, to check weather, and to do lots more.

On the inside is a foldable 6.9-inch OLED screen with 21:9 aspect ratio. The display has a Full HD+ resolution and a punch hole above it that housed a camera. Speaking of photography, the P50 Pocket have triple rear cameras - 40MP main, 13MP ultra-wide, and 32MP Ultra Spectrum (which is used for color rendering).

There is a Premium Edition of the Pocket P50 that have 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Unlike the standard model that comes in Black and White colors, the Premium Edition is themed in Gold color.
