Infinix launches INBook X1 its first laptop in India, packs powerful Intel Core chipsets

The popular brand, Infinix, owned by Transsion company, today foray into the notebook segment with the launch of its first Windows laptop called INBook X1. The device is specifically targeted at the India market and will be sold from December 15th exclusively on Flipkart.

The laptop has an aircraft-grade aluminum body that measures 323.5×219.5×16.3mm, and weigh just 1.46 grams. It has a 14-inch Full HD (1920x1080) display panel that is LCD, featuring 300 nits brightness and 72% NTSC color gamut.

Under the hood is a 10-Gen Intel Core i3-1005G1 dual core processor clocked 3.5GHz, paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB NVME m.2 SSD. There is also a Core i5 version with 8GB RAM (LPDDR4X) and 512GB SSD (NVME), and a Core i7 version with 16GB RAM (LPDDR4X) and 512GB SSD (NVME).

Interestingly, the INBook X1 boots Windows 11 Home Edition out-of-the-box in India while other regions get Windows 10. It has an HD webcam alongside with two microphones at the top bezel above the display. The Core i7 version has a fingerprint sensor too, although the other versions lacked the feature.

In addition, the laptop packed two 1.5W stereo speakers with DTS Audio. It has a 3.5mm audio/microphone combo jack for wired audio. Connectivity included are 2x USB 3.0 ports, 1x USB 2.0 port, 2x USB Type-C ports (data, charging), 1x HDMI (1.4) port, Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi dual band, and microSD slot.

It is powered by a 55Wh battery that can deliver 13 hours of local video playback in a single charge. The battery can be fast-charge from 0% to 70% within 55 minutes, the firm claimed.

The Infinix INBook X1 comes in three different colors, Noble Red, Aurora Green, and Starfall Gray. The base version (i3) is priced at Rs 35,999 (US$468), while the i5 and the i7 versions will be sold for Rs 45,999 (US$598) and Rs 55,999 (US$728) respectively.
