OPPO introduced Reno6 Lite with AMOLED screen, Snapdragon chipset in Mexico

OPPO Reno6 Lite

OPPO has quietly unveiled a new smartphone in Mexico called Reno6 Lite. It is a mid-budget device that has a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with 60Hz refresh rate, but it does not have any glass protection. It weigh 175 grams and is 8mm thick.

The phone boots Android 11 out-of-the-box buttered with the firm's proprietary ColorOS. Powering the whole system is a Snapdragon 663 octa-core chipset, clubbed with 6GB of RAM.

Storage is offered in 128GB only, but it can be expanded via microSD card. There are two SIM slots onboard, both of which supports only 4G VoLTE. If you are looking for 5G, you will have to look elsewhere.

In photography, the Reno6 Lite sports a 48MP rear snapper, accompanied by 2MP macro and 2MP depth cameras. At the front of the smartphone resides a 16MP selfie camera that can record 1080p videos, just as the ones at the rear.

As far as connectivity is concerned, the smartphone supports Bluetooth 5, WiFi 802.11ac (dual band), and GPS. It also have a 3.5mm audio jack. It relied on a 5,000mAh battery for power, with supports of 33W fast charging.

Sales have already begin in Mexico through the firm's official website, with the price sets at MXN 8,799 (US$433).
