realme narzo 50 sales begin on March 3rd in India, price starts at Rs 12999

The "narzo" smartphone series of realme just got a new addition dubbed narzo 50, after the firm unveiled 50i and 50A some months back. This is powered by the Helio G96 processor, which unfortunately does not support 5G.

LCD display panel is used and it is 6.6-inch in size, featuring Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz adaptive rate refresh that can automatically chose between 30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz,120Hz based on the content shown on the screen. The display peak brightness is 480 nits.

Photography is handled by triple rear-facing cameras - the main camera at the top has a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, followed by a 2MP portrait and 2MP macro cameras. At the front, there is a 16MP camera for taking selfie.

The smartphone will be available from March 3rd at select retail outlets in India. The basic version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage will be sold at Rs 12,999 (US$169), while the high-end version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs 15,499 (US$201). Buyers will be able to pick between Speed Black and Speed Blue colors.
