Two versions of the smartphone will be available - 4GB RAM/128GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage, both expandable via microSD card. Dedicated dual SIM slot is present with dual standby support, although non of the slot supports 5G.

A tiny punch-hole at the upper part of the screen accommodates a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.45 aperture. Unfortunately, none of the cameras on the moto g22 can record 4K videos.
