OnePlus Ace Racing Edition goes official, priced below $300

OnePlus Ace Racing Edition

As expected, OnePlus has announced its latest midranger called Ace Racing Edition. This is a cheaper alternative to the Ace smartphone that was released by the firm in April. In this sense, OnePlus is using LCD panel instead of AMOLED.

The 6.58-inch LCD screen used for the device is Full HD+ and it supports 120Hz variable refresh rate. Under the hood, we have the Dimensity 8100-Max running the show. The GPU embedded with the processor is Mali-G510 MC6, which can handle most graphics-demanding applications you throw at it.

The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition has no microSD slot, but its built-in storage of 128GB should be enough for average users. For buyers that demand more, there is a 256GB storage version. Up to 12GB RAM accompany the storage depending on the version you chose.

Sitting at the back are 64MP triple cameras, while a 16MP camera resides at the front for selfie. At the side we have the power button that double-up as a fingerprint reader alongside with the volume up/down buttons. The phone runs Android 12 and has a dedicated dual SIM slot.

It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. According to the firm, twenty-nine minutes charge can fill the battery from 0% to 80%.
