Redmi Note 11 SE brings 5G Dimensity chipset at a very cheap price

Xiaomi is not relenting its effort to further push its brand across all segment of the market as the firm today announced a new budget 5G smartphone in China called Note 11 SE. It is well packaged and should appeal to people that wants 5G connectivity at a very low price.

The device feature dual rear-facing cameras mounted on an island at the top-left corner on its back - a 48MP at the top and a 2MP portrait camera aligned just below it. An 8MP selfie camera resides at the front inside the waterdrop notch.

Powering the Redmi Note SE is a Dimensity 700 7nm processor, paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. 128GB is the only storage option offered, but you have the option to chose between 4GB and 8GB RAM when purchasing one.

It runs Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top, has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and there is a 3.5mm audio jack present for wired audio connection. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The 4GB/128GB version will be sold for CN¥999 (US$150), while the 8GB/128GB version will costs CN¥1299 (US$205). The smartphone will start selling from May 31st in China in Deep Space Blue and Shadow Black colors.
