HUAWEI Nova Y90 announced with 6.7-inch 90Hz screen, 40W fast charging


The Nova Y90 was introduced by HUAWEI earlier today in China. It is a 4G Android smartphone that packed a Snapdragon 680 processor, coupled with 8GB RAM. It comes with 128GB storage, although it lacks external storage support.

The device runs EMUI 12 out-of-the-box. Let's take a look at the front - there is a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD panel in this area that refreshes at 90Hz. At the top of is a punch-hole where an 8MP camera is fitted for selfie.

Moving on, there are three cameras at the back of the phone. The main has a 50MP sensor, this is followed by 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras. None of these cameras can record 4k video as they are limited to 1080p only.

It has a 5,000mAh non-removable Li-ion battery that supports 40W fast charging. According to HUAWEI, charging the battery from 0% to 50% only takes 30 minutes.

Its pricing and availability details were not revealed at the moment, but we should know about them in the coming days. The device will be available in four colorways, Midnight Black, Emerald Green, Pearl White, and Crystal Blue.
