OPPO K10 5G smartphone launches in India, sales begin next week


Few months after launching the 4G variant, OPPO today introduced the K10 5G smartphone in India. This is powered by the Dimensity 810 chipset instead of Snapdragon 680, and it comes in 8GB RAM version only.

The built-in storage is 128GB and it is expandable via microSD card. The device has a slim body profile of 7.9mm, although it is quite heavy considering its 190 grams body weight. The back cover and frame are made of plastic, while a 6.56-inch glass screen occupy the entire front.

The display have HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, which are rather poor by today's standard. Above the screen is a waterdrop notch that accommodates an 8MP selfie camera.

Let's talk about its photography, the OPPO K10 5G comes equipped with dual rear-facing cameras. The main has a 48MP sensor, while the secondary 2MP is meant for capturing the depth of field. The cameras support 1080p video recording and nothing more.

Biometrics is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and it also have dual stereo speakers for listening pleasure. It runs Android 12, has a splash resistant body that is IPX4 rated, and is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Sales will begin in India from June 15th on Flipkart, OPPO stores, and offline retail outlets. The phone costs Rs 17,499 (US$226). It will be available in Midnight Black and Ocean Blue colors.
