realme GT2 Explorer Master Edition with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, 100W fast charging announced

Realme GT2 Explorer Master Edition

The first realme smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is here. The GT2 Explorer Master Edition (a.k.a GT2 Master Explorer Edition), is the newest addition to the firm "GT" line-up, and this particular one is made to be a flagship and nothing else.

It has all that can be expected in today's flagship phones, including a 10-bit AMOLED screen, optical in-display fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos enhanced stereo speakers and more. But all of these will not be as quite as interesting without the powerful chipset onboard.

In addition, it is the first smartphone in the world to use LPDDR5X RAM. According to the firm, the phone has a dedicated X7 graphics chip to enhance the graphics experience offered by the display. The chip was made in collaboration with a technology firm called Pixelworks.

Photography is handled by triple cameras that sit at the back, while it also has a 16MP selfie camera. Though the GT2 Explorer Master Edition is not advertised to be a gaming smartphone, it has dual shoulder trigger buttons that can be used for gaming.

A 5000mAh battery supply the needed power with 100W fast charging support. Realme revealed that it takes only 25 minutes to charge the battery from 0% to 100% with the 100W GaN charger included in the retail box.
